In this special edition of our People On The Grid podcast, we attended the SwitchMed conference and had the pleasure of chatting with International Switchers about their sustainable projects. We chatted with Nour Kays, John AtickĀ and Yair Teller.
The SwitchMed conference was a wonderful opportunity with lots of sharing of ideas. We met with Nour Kays from Lebanon, Founder of NK by Nour Kays, who had the incredible idea of upcycling grocery store plastic bags into sustainable reusable and fashionable bags. Later we got talking to John Atick, Communications Officer for the Masar Ibrahim Al-Khalil (Abraham trail), He was discussing peace walks in Palestine, whose main goal is to encourage more people to explore the beautiful attractions Palestine has to offer. Finally, The Grid chatted with Yair Teller from Israel, Co-founder of Home Biogas, an amazing company that is turning waste into energy.
